Why visit Drung Waterfall?
Drung Waterfall, often searched as Drang Waterfall, is a compact but high-interest stop near Tangmarg on the way to Gulmarg. In winter it becomes famous for frozen icicles and snow photography; outside winter it works as a short waterfall and stream stop on a Gulmarg transfer day.
This is not a full-day destination by itself. It is best used as a 30-60 minute side stop while moving between Srinagar, Tangmarg and Gulmarg. The approach can become slippery in winter, so proper shoes and realistic expectations matter.
For activity-specific details, see the Drung Waterfall activity guide. This place hub exists to connect destination search intent with actual Kashmir routes and packages.
