Afternoon: Visit the magnificent Mughal Gardens — Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure, 1633), Shalimar Bagh (Garden of Love, 1619, built by Emperor Jahangir for Noor Jahan), and Chashmashahi (The Royal Spring).
Evening: Complimentary 60-minute Shikara ride on the world-famous Dal Lake. Glide past floating vegetable gardens and open Dal Lake. Spot Kingfishers, Little Bitterns, Grebes, and Common Pariah Kites.
Dinner & Overnight Stay in Srinagar
Gulmarg is home to the world’s highest green golf course (2,650 m) and India’s premier ski resort. Take the Gulmarg Gondola — one of the highest cable cars in the world, reaching 3,979 m. Phase 1 goes to Kongdoori meadow; Phase 2 reaches the shoulder of Affarwat Peak (4,200 m / 13,780 ft) with views of Nanga Parbat. Explore the Khilanmarg meadows on foot.
Return to Srinagar by evening.
Breakfast, Dinner & Overnight Stay in Srinagar
Sonmarg is the last major halt on the Kashmir side of the Srinagar-Leh highway. It serves as a base for trekking to high-altitude lakes and glaciers, including routes toward the Amarnath Holy Cave. The river here abounds with Trout and Mahseer.
Return to Srinagar by evening.
